Used by founders who have gone on to meet with GCC VCs and family offices.

The situation

You've done the work. The deck exists. But you've never been in the room with a real investor — and you don't know what you don't know. The questions you're not ready for, the numbers you'll stumble on, the story arc that loses them before slide four. This session puts you in that room before it counts.

What’s included

1

Before the call

We review your materials in advance — deck, data room, term sheet, cap table, depending on the session. You don’t need to prep anything.

2

The session

60 minutes of focused work. Not an intro call. Not a check-in. We go through your board meeting structure and materials as an institutional investor would, identifying what's missing, what will create friction, and how to run the room confidently.

3

After the call

Written feedback notes delivered within 24 hours, plus a free 30-minute follow-up call within 30 days to debrief once you’ve implemented or pitched.

Common questions

How long should my board pack be?

For seed or Series A, typically 8-15 pages. We'll work through the right length and structure for your stage and investor composition.

What if my board has very different investors with different expectations?

That's normal. We'll help you design a pack that serves the room without over-indexing on any one investor's preferences.

We don't have a formal board yet, just investor observer rights. Is this still relevant?

Yes. The discipline of running structured investor updates is the same whether it's a formal board meeting or a quarterly call. Getting it right early sets the tone for the relationship.
